With a software upgrade as well, we're also working on a new look for the site as well.
Ightham Mote

This lovely medieval house and gardens was a fantastic backdrop to a recent photoshoot we did as one of our workshops. Thanks to the National Trust for letting us do this on a lovely Autumn day.
Bookings for 2019

Following on from this year's excellent events, we're already in the process of fixing repeats for 2019. We'll elt you know as soon as they are confirmed.
Delapre Abbey

Grand Opening Event. Following a long restoration, the Abbey is opening to the public for the first time. As part of the opening weekend events, we will be bringing Tudor life in to the kitchen.
Horses through History 2018

We will be part of the Stuart Restoration period in Audley End's 'Horses through History' event.
International Living History Festival 2018

If you are interested in joining the group or finding out more about us, come along and talk to us.
While you can talk to us at any event, here we will be specifically out to show you how we work and how easy it is to come and join us.

Along with another group, we will be bringing the King's visit to the Tower.
Chiltern Open Air Museum

A welcome return of the local Justice of the Peace, to bring the Tudor court to the muesum.

2017 bookings

Bookings for 2017 are already starting to be confirmed. We'll update the calendar when they are.
Kenilworth Castle

A new event for us, for the second May Bank Holiday.
Civil War Centre

Another successful visit to this new museum, (now completed.) Thank you for all your wonderful comments at the event.
Bolsover Castle

An excelent weekend, without too much rain. From the ramblings of the old gardeners to the steward wondering when the Earl is going to turn up.
Correction

Please note the corrected date for Newark is 1-2 May.
Forthcoming events

Although the calendar is filing up, we do have a couple more events in the pipeline to be confirmed.
Chalke Valley History Festival

Our first time at this festival. Due to the length of the event, we are splitting it in two, with a smaller cooking event through the week and a Tudor Inn interpration at the weekend.
The National Civil War Centre

Following the opening of the museum last year, they have asked us back to give a view on the war from the town looking out.

Store move

Due to matters beyond their control, our last store unfortunately had to close. So we spent a busy weekend moving everything to its new home. We have taken the opportunity to give it a good old sort and we even have power now!
